Daan did say November, so I'd also be interested in knowing if it's on target still.

Yay! People want it! Cheesy More caffeine, more!

There's a set of features I wish to include before I put it up for download, which makes pinning a release date somewhat difficult. I'm still aiming for November but it might bleed over into December.

I'll be posting a timetable (and some new screenshots) soon.

What is the timeframe now for redblade? I have been fidling with 2e, 3e and 3.5e for some time now and I am convinced that asside from the release of the Core-Rules CD-ROM in the late 90s this is by far the best series of character generators around. I'm anticipating a release soon from you on this.... I suspect sometime at the end of January. I'm in no big hurry to get your program, however, I am really interested to see how you will truely improve upon your previous masterworks. There are some things I am curious about myself though:

Cheesy wheee!

I'm reluctant to set a date. Redblade CG is currently being alpha testing and the alpha testing team is still somewhere in the tongue1 and icon_scratch stages. When they reach hello2 I'll release it.

Will you include a NPC generator? I'm sure this would be something DMs (not PCs particularly) would find most helpful. The idea of a congruent program that can solve several DM problems I think would be good... however, I could see this as a later addition to the program. I do not intend to push things on your plate.

One click character generation is planned, which could include NPC's. (Redblade also generates statblocks).

Any chance for importing "artwork" into the program to display what a character "looks like"? I know from both a DM and PC standpoint that something like this would really round out how a character is made.

A character portrait sounds like a good addition, I'll add it to the todo list.
